Healthy Sexuality

This bilingual program is designed to promote healthy sexuality and relationships for men who have sex with men, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Two-spirited, Queer and Questionning people (LGBT2-SQQ) and youth.  In addition, the program’s goal is to decrease homophobia and heterosexism, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and HIV/AIDS.  Educational materials on the various levels of risk behaviours, the promotion of safer sex and risk reduction techniques are developed and presented through workshops, and support groups; while the provision of information and support is provided through supportive counselling in a safe, open and positive environment.    

What do we do?   

Support and facilitate discussion groups with health promotion activities for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, 2-Spirited and Questioning Youth and adults. 

 Information and training opportunities for educators, professionals, secondary and post secondary school students, community services and organisations on:  

Anti-homophobia and heterosexism workshops   

Inclusiveness   

Reduction and Barriers   

Safer Sex   

  

 Bilingual presentations in high schools, post secondary institutions, youth centres and in the workplace by staff and volunteers on “Sexual Diversity” and “Safer Sex”. 

  

  Online Outreach for MSM, Gay and Bisexual Men.  

  

  Information resources on a variety of topics including but not limited to:  

Safer Sex   

Risk and Harm Reducation   

Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and 2-Spirited issues (legal, health, relationships, coming out, sexuality,etc.)   

Homophobia and Heterosexism   

Breaking Barriers   

HIV/AIDS   

Self-Esteem
